Here is the finished project. It is a mini "window" quilt with a hand-drawn face done in colored pencil. The pattern is from an online class taught by Angela Jarecki.

Come to my garden

This is as far as I've gotten. Hey, it's a start!

Today I worked on a Window Face mini quilt. It's an online class hosted by Angela Jarecki. You start out by drawing a face in colored pencil on cloth, then you add crazy quilt pieces around the window, free stitching them in place. Next come embellishments, which I haven't gotten to yet.

The little girl doll I sculpted last week to place in my shop has a tiny red dot on her arm that I can't remove. I tried to scrape it off with a blade, but it seems to be embedded, and because I already have her baked and glazed I can't re-bake her. One more road block, but I'm getting used to that.
